Hi gurus !
Is there anyone on this emailist who has tried to understand the way of
working of SSP monitoring software ?
What I would like is :
* to understand how alarms, sent by E10K's nodes (by SNMP V1), are
read and understood by SSP process
* how the monitoring of the SSP's is working on.
What are my goals ?
=======================
To install the software "net-snmp-5.0.1-SunOS_5.8" software on a Sparc
workstation.
- use the same MIB as in "/etc/opt/SUNWssp/snmp/Ultra-Enterprise-10000.mib"
- define and create a new UCD-SNMP agent working for the E10k environment
able to retreive informations
from system boards, fans, centerplane boards and so on ...
Do you have any working examples ?
I will summarize
TIA
best regards from
