SAN Foundation tunables and performance

Hello List,

I've been looking into trying to optimise SFS related tunables and
found that one of the important ones, ssd_retry_count, no longer seems
to be tunable in Solaris 10 update2. When I try to set this parameter
in /etc/system I get a message during boot saying that sst_retry_count
is being ignored because it is not in the ssd module. Has the
parameter been renamed or is retry_count no longer tunable system wide
for the ssd module?

Also, would anyone be willing to share values that may have worked
well in your environment for fast fabric attached storage? I am
especially interested in the following parameters but would appreciate
any others you feel are related and useful.

set ssd:ssd_io_time=
set ssd:ssd_retry_count=
set ssd:ssd_max_throttle=
set fp:fp_offline_ticker=
set fp:fp_retry_count=

Thanks,
Vic
