SF445 versus SF440

Dear mangers,

we are considering to purchase a new machine and were wondering whether
we should go for the new SF445 or still try to get a SF440. How do
these two machines compare beyond the obvious difference of SAS versus
SCSI? The CPUs seem to be the same. Sun says these new machines have
20% better performance. We are wondering what exactly causes this
performance boost. Is it the I/O system of the new machines?

Any pointers are greatly appreciated!
