Hi Gurus,
SunFire V880R, Solaris 9, Sun Cluster 3.1, vxvm 4.0, CVM, Oracle 10.2G RAC.
I have a situation wherein I need to incorporate the Solaris cron jobs in
cluster.
There are about 25 crob jobs each meant to do different unix / Oracle
functions. These cron jobs that I am talking about, runs every 15 - 20 mins.
My exact requirement is that I need to distribute the load of these crons
onto these nodes.
At the same time, if one of the nodes, say Node A, fails, then the crons
which were meant to be executed on that node (node A), must then be run on
the other node (node B).
IS this possible? Or is there any other solution?
