sparc 5 , output when power-on ?

I have a sparc 5 w/o keyboard,mouse/monitor. I can
telnet to it thru network. I would like to see the
output thru port A when the system is initialized (
power - on ).
Using hyperterminal on a notebook connecting to port A
of the Sparc, I see nothing.

How can I make it ? Do I need to have keyboard ?

PS I have a Netra X1 and I can see the output thru LOM
port pretty easily.
