Xerox printer problem on Solaris

We've currently an issue with the M271 print queues. The issue is; when a
postscript file with more than 460 odd pages is submitted via our Unix
(emtsv02) server, only the first 460 odd pages will print.
There is no error on the printer log file, it just ends. These files are
submitted to the print queue using the lp command, i.e. [lp -d
M271_2_5PPfile.ps]

Now, I've been working with Xerox on this matter. Xerox have found that
they can print the same all of the file.
Using the HTTP submission feature on the printer and using the lpr command
(which uses the LPD port on the printer).

So, I also tried both these methods, using a file that previously stopped
printing.
In both cases the file prints completely, from the same unix server

So, the printer successfully and completely prints when:
 * using the http submission, and
 * lpr, I used: [ lpr -P 10.120.44.35:ps3 package_228752.ps] )
When printing using the lp command, the document stops printing early.

This leads me to the conclusion that there is some sort of issue with the
way the print queues have been configured.
Perhaps the spooler may not have enough room.

Any ideas or thoughts you can shed on this matter would be greatly
appreciated.

Best Regards
