CDE Login - Where does it obtain system name?

I have a DMZ-side Solaris 8 E250.

This morning the CDE Login screen now says:

"Welcome to <Name of a SWITCH>" which is on my LAN-side

instead of the system name.

I am trying to find where CDE login picks up the hostname to

display.

Both /etc/hosts and /etc/hostname.hme0 still show the correct name

* However: uname -a displays the <Name of a Switch>
