Hi,

I have a Solaris 8 server connected to two storages through a SAN.
One is a HDS USP 9000 and the other a EMC Clariion CX700. Both ASL
are installed. I am using VxVM 4.0 MP2. The server access the HDS
disks without any problem, but I am getting the following messages
regarding CX700:

Sep 5 15:59:54 fj50in vxvm:vxconfigd: [ID 966976 daemon.error] V-5-1-8784
disk /dev/rdsk/c4t0d0s2 can't be claimed - ERROR: I/O error Sep 5 15:59:54
fj50in vxvm:vxconfigd: [ID 966980 daemon.error] V-5-1-8784 disk
/dev/rdsk/c4t0d1s2 can't be claimed - ERROR: I/O error Sep 5 15:59:54
fj50in vxvm:vxconfigd: [ID 966988 daemon.error] V-5-1-8784 disk
/dev/rdsk/c4t0d3s2 can't be claimed - ERROR: I/O error Sep 5 15:59:54
fj50in vxvm:vxconfigd: [ID 966992 daemon.error] V-5-1-8784 disk
/dev/rdsk/c4t0d4s2 can't be claimed - ERROR: I/O error

The EMC technician said that all the parameters are ok. Anyone knows
what can be causing these error messages?
