Hello,
I was getting ready to configure RSC on 2 x V490s, 3 x V890s. I was able to
run rsc-config on only one V890 and configured the o/p to go to the RSC
serial port and activated the network management port as well. All of the
remaining 4 boxes, keeps returning back the following message:
rscadm: RSC firmware not responding
I have installed RSC 2.2.3 version packages on all the servers. I also used
rscadm and executed resetrsc, rebooted the boxes - all to no avail. If it
was only one server, I would have thought it was a bad RSC card. But 4 out
of 5 servers- sounds like something is wrong. All the boxes have Solaris10
installed on them. But atleast I was able to configure one server and got
it to work correctly.
Anybody have any ideas you want to pass along to help me figure out why RSC
is not working.
