/dev/rmt paths getting swapped

Dear Sirs / Managers

We have implemented a new backup solution using LTO-3 tape system and
Legato's DSN option. I have configured at preset 6 DSN's (where each
storage node sees these drives as local). These drives are LC Fiber type
and my Solaris hosts have LPFC Emulex 9002 HBAs (combination of PCI and
SBUS). The problem am facing is, that /dev/rmt/<n>cbn paths are getting
altererd. Ie, the physical device path of 0cbn and 1cbn are getting
swapped. I tried, clearing all entries in /dev/rmt and run devfsadm -c
tapes but still I get the paths swapped. [In my env I have 2 SAN
switches, where lpfc0 connection of host goes to Switch1 and lpfc1
connection of host goes to Switch2 and both tape drives + autochanger go
to Switch1]. A short-term solution I did was to manually link the 0cbn
and 1cbn paths (ie swapping the device paths myself). However, I would
like to know how to fix this issue.

1 more information, in lpfc.conf am doing a fcp-bind of WWPN nos and
presenting over pre-defined targets of only the storage sub-system (EMC
+ 3PAR) but for the tape sub-system am using "automap=1" so that "other"
WWPN nos discovered get auto-mapped. (/usr/sbin/lpfc/lpfcutil64 --->
Display All Nodes --> shows the targets mapped to respective WWPN's and
here is where I see target ID getting swapped, thus causeing device path
entry to get swapped)
