Hi All,
I am running into this problem with a solaris 8 server running apache and
weblogic. I have tried 'top', 'sar', vmstat, iostat to check swap space,
memory usage and other system resources.
I am not quite sure that I understand the meaning of "%ufs_ipf" but I am
not comfortable with the high value -shown below-.sar -g

I have also noticed that the JRE process size grows very large. Does this
with the high ufs_ipf imply memory leak? if yes how can I be sure.
Are there any specs on how to configure the kernel /etc/system parameters
for a server running web application-weblogic?
The following is the output of top:

Memory: 2048M real, 1224M free, 549M swap in use, 2100M swap free
The CPU idle drops to around 50% when a user connects to the server!!
Any thoughts? Please :-)
