Hello all,

I just unpacked a brand new SunFire 240, inserted a DVD-ROM drive and
tried to boot from a self-burned DVD (worked on a Netra).

{1} ok boot cdrom
Probing system devices
Probing memory
Probing I/O buses

Sun Fire V240, No Keyboard
Copyright 2005 Sun Microsystems, Inc. All rights reserved.
OpenBoot 4.18.5, 2048 MB memory installed, Serial #51024249.
Ethernet address 0:3:ba:a:91:79, Host ID: 830a9179.

Rebooting with command: boot cdrom
Boot device: /pci@1e,600000/ide@d/cdrom@0,0:f File and args:

The machine is hanging here and does nothing anymore. Any ideas?

Thanks a lot!

Regards,

  Andreas
