Running Linux on a SunBlade?

Gentlefolk,
Has anyone had any actual, real, concrete success loading Linux
on a SunBlade? We are trying to teach a Sys Admin. class using
SunBlades. We will use Solaris, of course, but want a second Unix
to load, preferably a Linux. The following is the report from my SA
instructor...

We may have a problem here. I've tried Red Hat (which we know doesn't
work), Mandrake, which claims to, Suse 7.3, which claims to, and Debian,
which also claims to work. The only distro that even boots properly on my
Blade is Suse 7.3 but it is then extremely flakey and locks up at different
places early in the installation cycle. It does not look promising. Anybody
have any good ideas?

Please help! Will, of course, summarize.

TIA!
