Hi,
I have a PC server with Adaptec 21610SA and it is running Solaris 10 x86
1/06 (patchs are up-to-date). In addition, there are two drivers is
created as RAID0 for Solaris OS, and 4 500GB hard drives are created as
volumes and using meta groups as RAID5.
The system was running fine with the low disk I/O. Once, I did tar/untar a
large file and the OS complained about some failure from the disk or the
controller.
Have anyone had this experience?
