SUMMARY: vxdisk and vxprint not responding

Based on your recommendations I just replaced the failed drive and ran
vxconfigd -k and everything works fine now.

Subject: vxdisk and vxprint not responding

We had a disk failure on an e250 running solaris 8 and vxvm 3.5.

Now vxdisk list just sits there, as does vxprint.

I've never seen this before.

I'm considering running vxvm-shutdown;vxvm-startup2

Anyone have experience with this problem?
