Hello All,
I changed the hostname of my box this morning.
I then did :
# find /etc -type f | xargs grep wscsolaris (oldname)
I use hp jetdirect for printing.
I see that I have the old hostname in two places for each spooler:
1. /etc/lp/printer/Q_NAME/alert.sh
And
2. /etc/printers.conf
I could script to change these from oldname to new name, however I was
wondering if this is the right way to do it?
/etc/printers.conf has a warning about using lpset to change any values,
however alert.sh has no such warning.
Thanks,
Abhimanyu.
