multi-tape ufsdump terminates after one tape

Solaris 9 on an E250:
I'm doing a simple ufsdump as I always have on a 400GB partition on an
Ultrium 2 tape drive. The ufsdump asks for a second tape but then aborts
the entire dump before I can change the tape.

DUMP: End-of-tape detected
DUMP: 89.83% done, finished in 1:03
DUMP: Change Volumes: Mount volume `#2' on `moon:/dev/rmt/2n'
DUMP: NEEDS ATTENTION: Is the new volume (#2) mounted on
`moon:/dev/rmt/2n' and ready to go?: ("yes" or "no") DUMP: The ENTIRE dump is aborted.

In the past, I would receive multiple "ready to go?" messages and could
let the dump wait. Any idea what's up?

Thanks.

Tom
