To All:
I have a V880 running Solaris 2.8
Just patched the st driver with 108725-24.
Installed a UltraSCSI 320 HBA and the probe-scsi-all can see both the HBA and the LTO3 tape drive.
pci@8,700000/scsi@2,1
/pci@8,700000/scsi@2
Target 6
Unit 0 Removable Tape CERTANCEULTRIUM 3 1856
After running boot -r from ok prompt, the system does not create a device under /dev/rmt directory.
here is the st.conf
name="st" class="scsi"
target=0 lun=0;
name="st" class="scsi"
target=1 lun=0;
name="st" class="scsi"
target=2 lun=0;

target=4 lun=0;

#

# This line adds support for Fibre Channel Tapes

Any tip will be greatly appreciated.
