Dear Sir,
i have a DELL 2850 Intel box with 2GB RAM and 2 processors 3.2 Xeon and a
hardware raid 3 of total size of 136GB .....solaris 10 OS.
i run an exim system with maildir format ...based on database auth.
the problem is that after a time of efficient work...we discovered
something....that we run out of i-nodes ...and that is natural since we use
maildir format....
so what we want to do ...we can down the system and move the existing data
to another machine...so that the slice that contain on the box is
free....now ..anyone can give me an advice on how i can re-create the file
system on a customized i-node...the data i have is:
1- 120GB slice
2- maxmum message (file) size is 20MB (in maildir every mail is stored in a
file)
3- i can put a limitation on maxmum folder messages to 10,000 message (file)
or 20,000
