Hi,
I have a problem with accented characters. I ssh from a
Linux(XFree/Xorg) machine into a Solaris 5 machine. Under Linux I use
the compose key to create characters like e accent grave etc. For some
applications on the Solaris like Framemaker this works ok. But for
others like xterm and applications linked with the Solaris Xt library
it doesn't. I get the characters ' and e separately after entering
<Compose> <'> <e>. I've noticed that not all locales have Compose
information in /usr/openwin/lib/locale but it makes no difference
whether I set the locale to one that has.
Any ideas?
Lieven
