Solaris 8 + vsftpd + pam based authentication.

Anyone have a working vsftpd running on solaris 8 or higher using PAM
based authentication so that vsftpd can authenticate local users in own
DB file and not the passwd/shadow file?

i am trying figure out alternate ways to keep the application self
contained so that it can be migrated as a package if i have to.

please provide a sample vsftpd.conf file and pam config file entries if
possible
