We recently bought 40 V20z's and are experiencing a high number of machines
not going through POST during boot-up. About 8 or 9 have already failed.
These are brand new machines.
These machines were delivered to different locations, so I would think that
different people were involved in the shipping.
Does anyone on the list have similar reliability problems? My group has
already resorted to replacing motherboards, but I was wondering if anyone on
this mailing list has experienced similar problems with Sun as of late. Has
anyone fixed this sort of problem without having to do major hardware
surgery?
