On one of our Solaris 8 servers, I have the ethernet interface setup
as eri0 (being the real hostname - will call it x) and then I also
have eri0:1 as virtual host x1. On the dns server the ip address for
x1 is the same as the ip address for another host x2). This way, I
can access this machine as x , x1 and x2. The problem is that when I
ssh to it using the name x, the connection is fine and I can stay on
as long as I want. When I ssh to it using either x1 or x2, I can
connect , works for a few minutes and then it drops. Any
suggestions/ideas will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
