Hi Gurus',
I am trying to tar up oracle database server installation and untar on a different server to the same locaiton. I am not able to make exclude list work. Could some one help me? I installed gnutar(patterns in the file like */u01/*) and it also does not help. Here are the exclude and include lists

exclude_list:

/u01/app/oracle/oradata
/u01/app/oracle/admin
/u01/app/oracle/product/9.2/network/admin/listener.ora
/u01/app/oracle/product/9.2/rdbms/audit
/u01/app/oracle/product/8.1.7/rdbms/audit
/u01/lost+found
/u01/app/oracle/local
/u01/app/oracle/CRONLOG

include_list:

/usr/bin/setsid.sh
/usr/bin/showsid.sh
/usr/bin/dbhome
/usr/bin/oraenv
/usr/bin/coraenv
/var/mail/oracle
/var/opt/oracle
/u01

Thanks,
J.
