Hi,
Anybody on the list had the same experience:
On a test servers, I created a ZFS pool of 4.5TB.
The pool contains 6 disks (c[23]t1d[012]) from 2 external SCSI boxes:
VAILABLE DISK SELECTIONS:
0. c1t0d0 <DEFAULT cyl 8918 alt 2 hd 255 sec 63>
/pci@4,0/pci1028,121@8,1/sd@0,0
1. c2t0d0 <SB-2128S-A-R0.0-957.03GB>
/pci@2,0/pci9005,f620@6/sd@0,0
2. c2t0d1 <SB-2128S-A-R0.0-800.78GB>
/pci@2,0/pci9005,f620@6/sd@0,1
3. c2t0d2 <SB-2128S-A-R0.0-566.60GB>
/pci@2,0/pci9005,f620@6/sd@0,2
4. c3t1d0 <SB-2128S-A-R0.0-774.80GB>
/pci@2,0/pci9005,f620@6,1/sd@1,0
5. c3t1d1 <SB-2128S-A-R0.0-774.80GB>
/pci@2,0/pci9005,f620@6,1/sd@1,1
6. c3t1d2 <SB-2128S-A-R0.0-774.80GB>
/pci@2,0/pci9005,f620@6,1/sd@1,2
ZFS reports nothing, no errors, no warning... Idem for the sd driver, no SCSI timeouts, nothing.
A few days (or a few hours if there is ZFS activity) the box "freezes" like if there was an out-of-mem or out-of-fd??? I must reset the box...
Any idea? Logs report nothing, nor on the console...
Xavier
