Hi All,
I'm trying to build a Solaris 8 jumpstart server for my client &
would like to patch the image on the jumpstart server with the
8_Recommended patches before I jumpstart a client & used the patchadd -C
command to add patches to the solaris 8 image & it did install first
couple of patches (around 12) & suddenly started throwing errors as
follows
grep: can't open */pkginfo

One or more patch packages included in
112396-03 are not installed on this system.
WARNING: Skipping patch 112396-03

I have also supplied the patch_order file as part of the
patchadd command.
Any ideas?? Is there any easy way to patch the image on the
disk. I was looking at avoiding using a finish script to install the
recommended patches as that process don't follow patch_order. Any
suggestions??
