Solaris 9/05 & NET-SNMP 5.1.1 (from SunFreeware) - phantom ethernet interface alarms?

All: I'm running the configuration listed in the subject line, and have
a bit of a problem -- Net-SNMP occasionally (every half hour or so)
responds that the network interfaces on the affected servers are down,
when they aren't. This is just a temporary item on one poll -- they
return to normal on the next pass.

I don't see any network drops on either the switch logs or system
/var/adm/messages, so I'm a loss as to the cause. Suggestions?
