Hi,
I've been tasked with running HP's GlancePlus product on some V880 servers
running Solaris 8. I've been told that Glance hasn't been updated since it
was released for Solaris 2.6. This being so there are some fairly
significant changes in Solaris since then, particularly in regard to memory
management. Thus the results we might see from Glance may not posess the
accuracy we desire for capacity planning.
Is anyone else out there running GlancePlus on Solaris 8 (pref on SUNfire
kit) and if yes can you tell me any gotchas that I might expect to see?
I'm waiting for HP to get back to me with more info but in the meantime
I'll grab any real-world tales I can get.

ps I'm also told the pricing is quite spectacular. Can anyone confirm or
deny?
