V480

Hi Guys,

        I have a strange situation. A sun v480 with 2 internal disks
(c1t0d0 & c1t1d0) are connected to 2 D1000's with 4 disks on each for a
failover setup.

These 2 D1000's are connected to v480 through 2 PCI dual
differential cards. Channel A on both the D1000's goes to first PCI dual
diff card & channel B on both the D1000's go to the second PCI dual diff
card.

The first PCI dual diff card sits in PCI slot 0 on v480 & the
second dual diff card sits in slot3 (it was done by someone before me).

The problem now is when D1000's & v480 are switched even while
trying to install O/s I can't seem to see the system internal disks
(c1t0 & c1t1). Later format command won't show the internal disks. When
I disconnect the D1000's, I can see the internal disks.

Are the PCI card placement wrong? Or what I'm I missing? Will
appreciate comments & suggestions

Thanks

Shiva
