Hi,
I'm having a peculiar problem. I have a SUN Fire V880 (firmware
OBP=4.17.1) with solaris 8 build 02/04 installed with kernel patch-level
108528-29 installed on it.
I'm trying to install veritas volume manager 4.1 & to prep the
system I'm trying to install the pre-requisite patches suggested which
are
SUNWsan package
111412-19, 111847-08, 111095-26 & 111413-18
When I install these patches & reboot the system it panic's into
infinite loop with the error (pasted at the bottom). I don't think it's
a hardware issue as I have tried the same stuff on a V480 & it panics
too after the patch install & while rebooting.
Has anybody seen this problem before. Please respond to my email
at snagaraj@datawave.com I have been working on it for the last 2 days &
no luck.
