Greetings managers,
I was wondering if any one has encountered an odd duplexing issue on solaris
2.6 e420.
I attempted to move from 100mb half duplex to 100mb full duplex. The system
seemed to accept the nnd commands to do so and the interface initially
worked. After about 7000 outbound packets it did *something* that caused
our switch to deactivate the port. There were 2 framing crc erros and
netstat reported 164 inbound packet errors. This happened on 2 different
switches 3 different ports on each. We have other e420 (solaris 8) that
have been full duplex since their creation and have not displayed the same
problems. Currently I have retreated to half duplex, has any one
experienced similar happenings ?
