Thanks to all. Almost every one has given me the same solution and it
worked. It was with LD_LIBRARY-PATH.

Subject: sshd start/restart issue on Solaris 9

Hello Managers

I am trying to start sshd on a Solaris x86 server and this is the error.

Ld.so.1: sshd: fatal: libz.so.1: open failed. No such file or directory.

The PATH has /usr/local/lib included. But when I type the same command
with restart option
no error is returned and the same status continues. We need remote
access and I am the root at the console.

I will summarize and thanks in advance.

Rao
