Hey,

i'm having this weird problem with 3 different V210 servers,
running Solaris 8 with latest patches and PROM 4.17.1

i'm connecting to the machine through console (the serial mgt port),
and whenever booting into single user mode using boot -s,
when reaching the OS prompt, the keyboard just stop working and I cant
write a thing
the only thing i can do is to send a break signal and go back to the ok
prompt.

if i'm booting into multi-user mode, everything works just fine,
and if i'll switch to single user mode using init 1, i will be able to
use to keyboard.

this problem is quite acute since it means that if the server needs to
run fsck during boot, it'll just stuck and i wont be able to load it.

btw - single mode isnt working even if booting with "boot net - s"

any ideas?

Thanks,
Ron.
