rsh and Windows DiskAccess

Hi. I don't know if this is the right newsgroup to be asking this question because it involves both Sun & Windows, but here it goes:

I'm trying to rsh from a Sun Solaris 8 machine to a Windows 2000 SP3 machine (on the same network). I did add the machine & user_name to the hosts.equiv (we are using MKSToolkit), so the rsh is successful. After rsh-ing, I'm trying to touch a file on a network disk, but that fails without an error message. My DiskAccess settings are correct. I can touch the file directly from the Sun Solaris machine and it works, or by logging into the Windows 2000 machine and by touching the file from that location - this works too. However rsh-ing and executing the touch command in the rsh session does not work.

We have other Windows machines which run the same version of DiskAccess and MKSToolkit and they don't seem to have a problem. I would appreciate any advice.

  Thanks,
  TibM
