Hi Gurus,
I never worked on Live Up gradation of Solaris OS. We are running Solaris 8
Release 2/02 on SUN E 450 server which is using Veritas Volume Management.
The root disk is under Veritas control and we created some Logical Volumes
on the Luns which we are assigned from Hitachi Storage. And we are running
some applications on this server. And now I want to perform a live upgrade
to this server from Solaris 8 to Solaris 9. Can some body please advice me
how it's going to impact the current configurations. Does its going to
effect the configurations already we did for old version of OS Solaris 8.
And I want to know how it's going to impact the configuration of Veritas
Volume Management. Will this process changes any of the existing libraries
or configuration files?
