10.0.0.0=========\\solaris box//=========172.32.36.0
with checkpoint
firewall.
I have ultra 5 machine,Solaris 2.6 and check point firewall
installed and configured.Hide NAT for 10.0.0.0 network.For 172
users I put a proxy for browsing.
I am able to go out from 10.0.0.0 to internet .But not to
172.32.36.0 network.
I have enabled ip_forwarding on the box.gave a route add command
route add 172.32.36.0 mask 255.255.255.0 172.32.36.100
where 172.32.36.100 is intranet router.
I am able to reach upto the 2nd interface ie 172.32.36.130 of
firewall from 10.0.0.0.
but not any host in 172 network.
I am not running in.rdisc or in.routed on my machine.
is it true that for static route this daemon is not required ?
urgent help required.
