Thanks to Rob Thompson he answered my question about pam_LDAP
authenticating with Sun One Directory Server 5.2. The pam_LDAP was
customized to only check for LDAP password authentication to login to
system accounts.

We currently have a Sun One Directory Server 5.2 with 18,000 accounts is
there a way to authenticate these users with their LDAP password if they
have a system accounts on a Solaris 10 system. We don't want to have to
create passwords if we can just use their LDAP password.
