Sorry for the late summary.
This is my first summary on this list, dont' get mad.

The problem was:
> WHen I run ./configure, I got these errors:
> -------------------------------------
> configure: WARNING: ****** Your snprintf() function is broken, complain to
> your vendor
> checking whether getpgrp requires zero arguments... yes
> checking whether OpenSSL's headers match the library... no
> configure: error: Your OpenSSL headers do not match your library
> -----------------------------------

I got response from W. Enestvedt, C. Barnard, A. Stade, D. Foster and
catv@ml.104.net.

Suggestions:
- use --with-ssl-dir switch
- may be crypto.h is an older version somewhere on the file system
- CFLAGS should only include -I options
- LDFLAGS should include -L and -R options only

Result:
NOT ME, I swear... =)
someone probabaly installed a gcc pkg for Sol8 on this sol7 system.
Re-install gcc solved by problem.

William
