Unable to set 100Mbps at full-duplex mode on SUN 1GB Quadcard

Hi all,

I got a problem to set 100Mbps / full-duplex mode on our SUN 1GB
Quadcard which is installed on our SUN V128R machine. I had configured
the first interface for 100Mbps / full-duplex and the rest are 1000Mbps
(by default). The reason is I have a TAP device which only supports up
to 100Mbps. Once I configured the first interface to 100Mbps through
/etc/rc2.d/S69inet and at the same time I 'hard-coded' the Cisco 6500
series (which has 1000Mbps interfaces) to 100Mbps / full-duplex, it does
not works and fall to 100Mbps half-duplex on the next reboot.

Below are the scenarios that I had done:

Server Switch Duplex

100Mbps 100Mbps Half-duplex
100Mbps Auto-sensing Half-duplex
Auto-sensing 100Mbps Half-duplex
1000Mbps Auto-sensing Full-duplex
Auto-sensing Auto-sensing Full-duplex
1000Mbps 1000Mbps Full-duplex

I did not install driver which came together with the card, since the
O.S. itself able to detect it automatically. The rest I manually defined
especially on network configurations.

Please help me. Advice me if there is a way to configure it to 100Mbps /
Full-duplex mode. If there is an issue discovered about this card, do
tell me the links. Thanks very much.

Regards,

Al
