Zones and SGD

Hello managers,

we got lost while experimenting with Solaris Zones and SGD. We
installed SGD in both the global zone and the single non-global zone.
We can access both zones and run applications but have some questions
left that we haven't found an answer for yet.

We are observing one or more processes named tier3loadprobe in prstat
that consume close to 100% of the CPU. We have no idea who's started
these process but we assume that they are taratelle related. What are
these processes good for and why are they eating the CPU?

We are using the Fullscreen Desktop in SGD and Window Maker.
Accessing one of the machines with a web browser, Openening the Full
Desktop and opening a terminal session we get some PATH when doing

        echo $PATH

but we have no idea where and how this PATH ist set. The setting in
/etc/default/login is obviously not used, also not the setting in
/etc/profile. Any idea?

Thanks a lot!

Regards,

    Andreas
