Managers,
I got a problem running SUNPCi after we upgrade our workstation to
Solaris 8.
When we start a SUNPCi session, it runs well for some time and then the
whole windows crashs and show the following messages:
Warning, overwriting an existing physical font: 6
Warning, overwriting an existing physical font: 5
X Error of failed request: BadName (named color or font does not
exist)
Major opcode of failed request: 45 (X_OpenFont)
Serial number of failed request: 1026638
Current serial number in output stream: 1027153
It happens all the time after running the SUNPCi for some time.
Does anyone know what is the problem?
The configuration of our machine follows:
U10 with 512 MB ram, installed with Solaris 8 HW10/01 with all
recommended patches.
One more thing, it will only happen on the older SUNPCi. That is those
using AMD 300/400MHz CPU. The new SUNPCi II does not have this problem.
Thanks,
Jonathan
