I'm trying to get an L9 on an E3500 running Solaris.
The thing is, it just doesn't "see" the L9 as a tape
device at all. I've done all recommended patches,
installed mtx, have the sgen drivers installed.. but
it just doesn't see it..
At the OK prompt probe-scsi-all just indicates
/sbus@3,0/SUNW,fas@3,8800000
Nothing else... I think I'm doing something obviously
wrong here, but I can't fathom what is up. I've changed
out the cable, and that hasn't made any difference.. I've
gone over everything I've found in the Sun-managers
archive.. and nothing seems to be working..
What is up?
