Removing Spurious Disk Definition

Hello all,

After replacing a failed root disk which was part of a 2 disk SDS
mirror, iostat -En still shows the failed disk definition, despite
using luxadm and devfsadm in an attempt to correct this.

I don't wish to do a reconfiguration reboot - how can I get rid of the
incorrect definition?
