Hi All,
Urgent DR need: Client lost a M$ server (hardware failure)
and needs data from its disks immediately. Can I plug them into my
420R (Solaris 10 1/06) and pull off a raw image file? I've tried
# dd if=/dev/rdsk/c0t1d0s0 of=~jritorto/008124h3.img
and
# dd if=/devices/pci@1f,4000/scsi@3/sd@1,0:a of=~jritorto/008124h3.img
and keep getting syslog entries:
Mar 24 13:50:14 berkeley disk not responding to selection
Mar 24 13:50:16 berkeley scsi: [ID 107833 kern.warning] WARNING:
/pci@1f,4000/scsi@3/sd@1,0 (sd0):
Is there a way to tell Solaris to quit messing with it and just dump blocks?
