Well thanks to all the responses I received. (To many to list)
But Darren Dunham replied with the correct very quickly.
It was hanging on the /xfn directory which was automounted.
I thought I had turned it off during my initial hardening, so I did not
think about that being a problem.
The solution.

/etc/init.d/autofs stop
/etc/init.d/autofs start"

[demime 0.99c.7 removed an attachment of type text/x-vcard which had a name of Smith, Kevin C.vcf]
