Weird diskset-problem with SC31U1

Hello gurus,

I just installed SC3.1U1 on two V280's, sharing a 3310 Storage. (Yes, I
know I should've two storages, but it's just a test system, so...)
OS is Solaris 9 (also fresh installed), and everything went fine, until
I came to the diskset configuration.
I increased nmd to 256, and md_nsets to 10, did a reconfigure boot, and
start configuring my disksets. The first three were okay, I could set
them up and built my metadevices.
But now, I have a problem with the last diskset:
I set it up, and AFAIK, everything's okay:

 metaset -s ldap-dg

Set name = ldap-dg, Set number = 4

Host Owner
  tod
  teufel

Mediator Host(s) Aliases
  tod
  teufel
root@tod # metaset -s ldap-dg -a /dev/did/dsk/d7
root@tod # metaset -s ldap-dg

Set name = ldap-dg, Set number = 4

Host Owner
  tod Yes
  teufel

Mediator Host(s) Aliases
  tod
  teufel

Driv Dbase

d7 Yes

So far, so good, let's create the metadevice:
metainit ldap-dg/d1 1 1 d7s0
metainit: tod: ldap-dg/d1: No such file or directory

What's goin' on here? Why is it complaining about "No such file or
directory"? Am I missing something?
I have no idea anymore, hopefully, someone of you can shed some light on
it...

Thanks in advance, will (of course) summarize,

Harald
