Multiple 3510's and Point-to-Point SAN Host ID's

We have 3 different 3510's with a few expansion tray's connected to a switch
that makes our SAN. I have a question about host ID's.

1) Do the hoost ID's have to be unique for all 3 of the 3510's? I assume
yes? (these are dual controller units) The documentation is a not 100% clear
on this..... lol

2) What is the default host ID?
