Wasn't there a "known" limit on the size of swap in Solaris and it starts to
negativily effect performance?

Not sure of the size of the boot disks, probably 72GB or 144GB...

So we definitely have root, var, and swap on it's own slice........

Thanks for any info, I have usually followed Sun's Blueprints in the
past......
