Thanks to all GURUS who have helped me with SED.. Here is the summay :
Task : find a pattern in a file and put a comment on that line, then insert
a new line
Solution :
# nawk '{print;} $1 == "D{MTAHost}[127.0.0.1]" {print"D{MTAHost}[
mailserver.com]"}' submit.cf | sed
's/^D{MTAHost}\[127\.0\.0\.1\]/\#D{MTAHost}\[127\.0\.0\.1\]/'
