SunCluster 3.1 and Ipmp help

I have a two node cluster, running sun cluster 3.1 with solaris 8 on
v880's. My passive node has a bad memory module that needs to be
replaced... When checking to ensure that it was the inactive node, I
discovered a problem... When I run scstat, it shows that one of my
interfaces in my ipmp group on the active node is down... when I run
ifconfig -a it shows it is up... It has been a while since I have worked
on sun cluster and can't figure out if it is really down or being
misreported in the scstat.... Please help..

not sending all of the output you guys would need to help...
